4th of July

This year we traveled to MI to attend 2 different family gatherings with both sides of Kevin's family.

On Friday we made the annual trip to Diamond Lake where 2 of Kevin's aunts and uncles have lake houses. The weather was a little chilly so there was not as much boating and swimming, but we still had a great time. Joe (the king of lawn games) did teach us a new game called Spike Ball. I'm not agile enough to play this year - maybe next time. Thanks to all the "Gallagher" clan for a great weekend.

On Saturday we drove just a few miles away to the annual Peschel Family Reunion to visit with the McLaughlin side of the family. Each year they rent a summer camp for a weekend of fun. Again the chilly weather, but it made lounging by the firepit even better.

This is my favorite picture of Erin C. She is graduating with a degree in Parks and Recreation Management this winter from UW LaCrosse. This summer she runs a children's sports camp in the Homewood-Flossmoor area. Too funny that she stands drinking a beer NOT supervising the children playing with fire!!!!

And who doesn't need a little flippy cup to end the night! :)
