I went grocery shopping last week and added the following items to my cart:
Beef Roast
Wheat Thins
Nectarines
Butter
Yogurt
Bread
Lettuce
Potatoes
Wheat penne
Milk
Sour Cream
Like always, I checked to buy the products with the longest outdates. My sour cream is dated Sept 10. Upon arriving home, I realized I already had an unopened sour cream but it was set to expire in 1 day so I threw it out and kept the new one. Later that evening when Kevin looked through the fridge he commented "do you know that by the time our sour cream expires we'll have our baby?"

Oh my gosh...I so so so remember doing the same thing with Evelyn. It always gave me a huge smile when I'd buy something after Evelyn's arrival date :)
