5 months old and there goes the sign.... I could hardly keep her still to take the photo because she was grabing at the sign and investigating the armrest. But here she is....5 months old. And wearing her I Love Daddy t-shirt. My personal favorite. :)
The "olympic" stats:
14 lbs 15 1/4 oz - 50th percentile
27 1/4 inches - 97th percentile
Likes:
- anything you can put in your mouth (toys, fingers, toes, green beans....oh yes, last week you picked up a green bean off my plate and put it in your mouth)
- sucking on your toes
- giggling
- bath time
- singing and music class
- reaching for toys on your tummy
- rolling over
- pulling off your socks
- grabbing onto noses (other people's that is)
- sitting up and playing with your toys (with very little assistance)
- standing up with assistance
Dislikes:
- being sick (you had your first big cold last week and boy was it crummy). It lead to an ear infection and a week of amoxicillin. Yuck.
- the bulb syringe aka "booger sucker" - see above
- sleeping through the night. We had a good run of 3 weeks where you slept from 7:30pm until 8am. Now you seem to be not so happy in the night. Often waking up at 11pm and again between 3-4 am. I think you might have been having a growth spurt since you are now 27 INCHES!!! Hopefully the rice cereal and solid food shortly will help you pull through.
Other interesting facts:
- You still haven't rolled from your back to you tummy. You sit up very well, but don't seem to care to roll that direction. Hmmm....
- We tried Rice cereal this weekend. You did pretty well. Mostly just grabbed the spoon and sucked on it, but it went okay. We'll keep trying!

ok. it's undeniable now. She TOTALLY looks like Kevin in these pictures. I can't believe she's learned so many new tricks in one month! She's going to be such a TREAT when I get home!
