We took Raegan to her very first White Sox game. Early in the day we told her that after her nap we'd go see the White Sox! She slept and slept and finally we had to wake her up 30 min prior to game time. We tiptoed into her room to attempt to transfer her directly to her carseat. Yeah right! She bolted straight up her bed and shouted "Go White Sox!".
She watched out the window intently as we drove downtown. Out of the blue her voice calls out, "White Sox, are you?" (We were at Irving Park Road...deep in Cubs territory....so the White Sox were no where in site).
Once at US Cellular, we walked along the tall metal gates. Almost concerned she yells.... "Inside! Open the Gates!!!"
We had a blast and she still says "I miss the White Sox".
I guess TV baseball just doesn't do it for her. Me neither.
